The Mysterious Taking Off of a Colored Man in Nicholas County.

Carlisle, Ky., Aug. 14 - (Special.) - George Wilson, colored, a well digger, was found hanging to a small sapling this morning near the roadside on the Blue Lick and Myers Station turnpike. Wilson was at Parks Hill camp-meeting on Friday night, and was reported to have shown some money. He left in his cart for John Bowen’s about 9 o’clock, the last seen of him until found Saturday morning. The general impression is he was foully dealt with. He was hanging by a short leather hitching rein. The verdict of the Coroner’s jury was that he was choked to death
