TRIALS SOON.

SUSPECTED POLICEMAN AND HIS ACCOMPLICE ARE AT HICKMAN.

Fulton, Ky., Feb. 19. - The examining trials of R. M. Potts and Hardee Beasley will probably take place the latter part of the week at Hickman, Ky. They were arrested as suspects for the murder of Bill Dooley, who was foully assassinated Friday night.

Potts was suspended Saturday night from the police force, pending an investigation, and the above is the outcome.

At about the same time that Potts was arrested, by Roberson, Sheriff George L. Carpenter placed Beasley under arrest on a warrant charging him also with being one of the parties who killed Dooley.

Both Potts and Beasley protest their innocence, and declare they know nothing whatever about the terrible deed. The men were taken to Hickman for an examining trial before County Judge Kearby.
