ARRESTS MADE

TWO MEN ACCUSED OF MURDER OF BILL DOOLEY.

One of the Prisoners a Police Officer - Fulton is Quiet, But Great Indignation Prevails.

Fulton, Ky., Feb. 18. - Police Officer R. M. Potts and Hardee Beasley were arrested this morning charged with killing Bill Dooley, the negro who was taken from his house by four men Friday night and assassinated. Other arrests may follow.

The town is quiet, but the good people of both colors are indignant at the cruel murder of Dooley.

The entire city is very much aroused over the foul crime.

One prominent minister touched on the matter in his sermon, declaring it to be the duty of every citizen of the city to stand ready to aid in every way possible in bringing about the arrest and conviction of the guilty parties.

Potts is said to have quarreled with Dooley and to have threatened his life a few hours before the shooting.
