Description

BUT WILL THEY DO IT?

Clark County Grand Jury Advised To “Get a Move On.”

[Louisville Commercial.]

It seems to be pretty well settled that the Negro Bob Haggard, who was lynched for rape a short time ago, was innocent. Clark county people would do themselves credit by bringing the lynchers to justice. It is too much to expect that the lynchers will be convicted of the murder they have committed, but a fair trial and attempt to convict them would have a wholesome effect and case the minds of some decent people, who ought to be ashamed of themselves.
